Johannesburg Emergency Services (EMS) is advising parents to be extra cautious as spring arrives. The warning comes following the tragic drowning of a 13-year-old boy in Soweto. The boy was playing with friends when he accidentally fell into a dam at Power Park, Orlando. EMS and SAPS were involved in the recovery efforts after the boy went missing on Saturday afternoon. Authorities emphasize the importance of supervising children and avoiding play around abandoned buildings or unsupervised water bodies.
